Five Nights at Freddy’s

Have you ever been afraid of a teddy bear before? If not, you haven’t play Five Nights at Freddy’s.

Five Nights at Freddy’s is a point and click survival horror game created by developer Scott Cawthon. The player’s goal is to survive five nights at the pizza restaurant called “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza” where families gather for entertainment. The player is placed in a small office from 12:00 am to 6:00 am where he must monitor and track with the security cameras the animatronic robotic teddy bear characters while avoiding getting killed. If the player fails the mission the real horror from the game comes when the robotic bears jump scared the player and receive a game over.

Five Nights at Freddy’s was first released in August 2014 exclusively for Desura a digital distribution platform, in that same month, the game was released via steam. Due to the positive reviews and its popularity the game was released for mobile applications IOS and Android.

Five Nights at Freddy’s became a top seller for the approaching threat and the emphasis on suspense and fear for the player, so they decided to release sequels of the game Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 on November 2014, Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 on March 2015, and Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 on July 2015. They decided to keep the same fear concept of the game, but of course more difficult and with new features.

Scott Cawthon thought the games were not enough for the fan players so he decided to release a horror mystery novel based on the series. Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Silver Eyes was released December 2015 and it detailed the game series story in Cawthon’s imagination.

The latest and fifth game of the series has been released in January 2017, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location. The game centralizes to a more liberal player, having access to walking areas, and the introduction to a new teddy bear robotic cast.

I challenge you to take a night shift at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza on your phone and see if you can survive the challenge.
